Hooray for Hollywoof!
By Kitty Brown, Woofs Magazine
Matthew Broderick recently starred on Broadway in "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying"---the hit musical about surviving the rat race---and now it seems his dog, SALLY, is thoroughly enjoying her own rat race!
According to Matthew's wife, Sarah Jessica Parker, who recently starred in her own Broadway revival of the legendary "Once Upon a Mattress", the dog is chasing rats off the streets and back into the holes from where they came!
Two of Broadway's biggest draws, Matthew and Sarah Jessica are used to audiences, but even they were surprised at the crowds Sally's antics drew!
Bash Dibra, Sally's trainer, explains, "Sally is a Border Collie, and Border Collies were bred to herd sheep. But I can't believe how strong Sally's instinct is! She's a city dog, and has never been exposed to sheep before---who can remember the last time they saw a stray sheep wandering the streets of New York?---so she's channeling all that great instinct into herding the rats!"
And now it seems Sally may have jumped from one rat race into another! Matthew weaned Sally off chasing rats by teaching her to catch Frisbees. She's gotten so good, that she's now featured in Dibra's new training video, Simple Solutions!
Mmmm...Are you ready for your close-up, Sally? Rats on the mean streets of New York may seem a whole lot kinder and gentler after tasting the Hollywood rat race!
